Amergis is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assisting patients in achieving and maintaining optimal function due to chronic illness and/or debilitating injury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual dimensions to formulate nursing diagnoses
- Implement a plan of care by providing nursing care and education directly or through ancillary personnel
- Coordinate educational activities and develop individualized teaching and discharge plans with clients and their families
- Provide hands-on nursing care and supervise ancillary nursing personnel
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to achieve overall goals
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
- One year prior professional nursing experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred
- CRRN certification may be required per state/client contract
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
- Computer proficiency required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
