Bardenay Eagle is seeking a skilled Pantry Cook to join our culinary team. As a Pantry Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality food for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare food items in the kitchen's pantry, fry station, grill, broiler, and sauté areas.
- Station Setup: Set up your station according to restaurant guidelines.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Follow local health regulations and maintain exceptional safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
- Equipment Maintenance: Report equipment problems to supervisors and have knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
- Cleaning and Organization: Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
- Experience: Previous prep or line cook experience.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills, as well as safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Skills: Professional communication skills, ability to take direction, work in a team environment, and work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Ability to: Speak and hear, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus.
- Physical Demands: Constant standing with some walking, ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours), and frequent lifting up to 35 pounds and occasional lifting/moving 50 pounds.
