Key Responsibilities
  • Providing post-acute care as a Practical Nursing Specialist.
  • Monitoring residents' physical and mental health and documenting vital signs.
  • Conducting resident intakes and recording health concerns and medical histories.
  • Reviewing and maintaining accurate medical records and charts.
  • Administering and verifying medications as prescribed.
  • Ensuring adequate medical supplies are available.
  • Creating a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Assisting with IV setups, vaccinations, and phlebotomy procedures.
  • Adhering to care plans and ensuring accountability in patient care.
  • Supporting medical staff with orientation and training initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist.
  • Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a nursing or related role.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
