Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations using standardized tests and clinical observations to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Tailored Therapy: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for a range of communication disorders, including articulation, fluency, and social communication.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with educators, parents, and specialists to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Licensing: Must hold or be eligible for a Minnesota State SLP license.
  • Certification: ASHA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: School-based experience is a plus but not mandatory. Passion and dedication are key.
