Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient care, physical examinations, and ancillary tests, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our patients.
- Schedule clinic appointments, manage patient flow, and maintain accurate records.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collect lab specimens, operate diagnostic equipment, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Collaborate with the core PACT Team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Diploma or certificate from an accredited program, with certification in phlebotomy and experience in a related primary care or ambulatory care setting.
- Minimum two years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a government healthcare environment, with a strong understanding of VA guidelines and regulations.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong computer skills, including EMR experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
