About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Product Owner to join our team at Kimberly-Clark. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing product backlog items, working closely with product managers and stakeholders to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize product backlog items based on business needs and customer requirements.
  • Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to ensure that product backlog items are aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, and testing, to ensure that product backlog items are properly scoped and prioritized.
  • Develop and maintain product backlog items, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and definition of done.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders regarding product progress and value delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate impediments to product delivery, working closely with the scrum team and other stakeholders.

Key Qualifications and Experiences

  • 15+ years of experience in automation processes, with a strong background in designing and developing end-to-end automated warehousing/manufacturing processes and solutions.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or 7+ years as a Senior Business Analyst in an agile or product development environment.
  • Proven success working with self-managed, virtual team members, with strong virtual meeting facilitation, interpersonal communication, training, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Established background in launching software/solutions or services in partnership with business and engineering teams, with high degree of proficiency in wireframes, prototyping, iterative development, and understanding of agile principles.
  • Ability to inspire a team to act as a small business jointly accountable for its product.
  • Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of highly innovative products, including a wide variety of mechanisms.
  • Experience in using backlog tools, such as Azure DevOps and Craft.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills at all levels.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, prioritization and time management skills.
  • Proven experience as a change agent to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders at multiple levels of a global organization.
