Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of legal case materials
  • Assess new and intricate cases for legal viability
  • Establish probable cause and strategize for evidence collection
  • Investigate relevant facts and applicable laws
  • Prepare for pretrial proceedings and coordinate witness management
  • Assist in articulating legal positions to affected parties
  • Draft legal documents and orders with precision
  • Maintain organized files, documents, and exhibits
  • Summarize legal documents and proceedings effectively
  • Provide training and guidance to fellow personnel
  • Utilize various databases and software for data extraction and reporting
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Possession of a Paralegal Certificate or a High School Diploma/GED with relevant paralegal experience
  • Experience in automated litigation support
  • Familiarity with forfeiture law and trial procedures
  • Strong communication and organizational capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard software applications
  • U.S. Citizenship and successful completion of a background investigation are mandatory
