Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze work cell layout, process flow, and material flow to identify improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate operations and utilize data analysis and metrics to drive process improvements.
- Assist in creating and maintaining capacity and labor models.
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to support continuous process improvement.
- Identify and implement shop floor process improvements to increase output and reduce costs.
As an intern at Pratt & Whitney, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful and impactful projects across our business. You will develop an understanding of the aerospace industry, learn about our company and its operations, and appreciate how each discipline and department contributes to the success of our products and customer partnerships.
Qualifications- Enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Data mining and manipulation experience with Excel, VBA, SQL, or other methods.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
