Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Grant Accountant to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of grant transactions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for various grants, providing insights to management and stakeholders
  • Monitor grant budgets and expenditures, ensuring funds are allocated and spent appropriately
  • Assist with the preparation of grant proposals and budgets
  • Collaborate with program staff to ensure alignment between financial and programmatic goals
  • Conduct regular reconciliations and audits of grant accounts
  • Respond to inquiries from grantors and regulatory agencies
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in grant management or nonprofit finance
  • Strong knowledge of debit and credit principles
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
