Job Summary

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a key member of our Behavioral Health Department, responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to our patients. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing psychopharmacological management
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and other clinical staff to develop treatment plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed
  • Document patient interactions and charting in a timely and accurate manner
  • Meet productivity standards and participate in quality improvement activities
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience in psychiatric treatment
  • Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Nationally recognized board certification and federal DEA
  • Excellent working knowledge of psychopharmacology and behavioral medicine
