Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking skills to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
