Job Title: Behavior Consultant/Mobile Therapist

Matrix Behavior Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled Behavior Consultant/Mobile Therapist to provide services in Monroe County. As a company founded by parents of autistic children, we understand the complexities of working with individuals with special needs and strive to provide a supportive environment for our staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
  • Provide individualized therapy in home and community environments.
  • Support implementation of treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising Behavior Consultant/BCBA.
  • Offer support to parents, teachers, and community officials.
  • Model appropriate behaviors.
  • Provide clinical support to direct care staff.
  • Implement consequences related to appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
  • Coordinate clinical information with other professionals and agencies.
  • Exchange information clearly and concisely with relevant parties.
  • Develop meaningful treatment and therapeutic systems.
  • Construct key growth experiences for clients and families.
  • Provide positive role engagement interventions for clients and families.
  • Improve secure caregiver-child attachments.
  • Provide executive skills and functioning for clients and families.
  • Increase emotion regulation and distress tolerance/coping for clients.
  • Complete paperwork, including documentation of session notes, encounter logs, treatment plans, and assessments in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a mental health field or a licensed mental health professional.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • One year of paid experience working with children or adolescents (preferred).

Matrix covers up to 80% of your health premium. We provide a company-sponsored 401(k) plan. You'll receive two weeks of paid time off at your main billable rate, even for part-time positions. Performance bonuses are also available.

Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents. They must also participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs and complete the NSOR Verification and Mandated Reporting Certificate.
