Job Summary: We are seeking an Admitting Worker to join our team at UCI Health. As an Admitting Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient patient registration process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient information and demographics
  • Process patient admissions and discharges
  • Manage patient records and documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in patient registration or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience working in a hospital or medical office setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance programs

Working Conditions:

The Admitting Worker will work in a hospital setting and will be required to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
