We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist PRN to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment.

About the Job

You will be responsible for performing diagnostic computed tomography procedures at a technical level that does not require direct supervision. Your duties will include operating CT scanning equipment, practicing ALARA standards, and understanding physician protocols and scans appropriately. You will also evaluate patients for any allergic reactions, administer oral and IV contrast, and place correct IVs for exams.

The ideal candidate will have basic cardiac life support certification and must obtain it within 30 days of employment. Additionally, they should hold a Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification, which must be obtained within one year of employment. A vocational school graduate is required for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $75,000-$95,000 depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and education assistance.
