We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Haverhill Pavilion, a world-class organization dedicated to providing exceptional care in behavioral health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of our treatment team, working collaboratively with therapeutic teams to provide the highest standard of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess physical and behavioral health needs of patients, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
- Provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice, as defined by state regulations and facility policies.
- Ensure each patient's status is assessed on an ongoing basis, and pertinent information is gathered and documented.
- Notify physicians of significant changes in patient status, such as difficulties with detox or medical emergencies.
- Administer medications per doctor's orders and document count of controlled substance medication administration.
- Complete admission and discharge processes, and provide direction or coordinate the activities of the unit.
- Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, coworkers, and others involved in patient treatment.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current MA Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in behavioral health, with a passion for Haverhill Pavilion's mission.
