About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Paradise Energy Solutions. As a key member of our design and installation team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solar energy systems for commercial and small utility scale projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement solar energy systems, including ground mount and roof mount PV systems, battery storage, EV charging stations, medium voltage gear, and protective relays.
  • Collaborate with our design and procurement teams to ensure compliance with code and equipment changes.
  • Provide remote technical support to project managers and crew foremen in the field.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and provide feedback and recommendations to our design and procurement teams.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) license in the states where PES operates, or the ability to obtain them in a timely manner.
  • Experience with Etap, SKM, or other power system modeling software.
  • Experience with Arc-Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination studies.
  • Strong communication and computer skills, including typing, Microsoft applications, and CAD.
  • Ability to learn and use new software systems as needed.
