Key Responsibilities
  • Table Service: Greet residents as they are seated, ensure the table is clean and well-set, and provide excellent service throughout the meal.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with meal service, catering, and special events, ensuring that food is prepared correctly and to customer satisfaction.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and attractive work area, including the dining room, small wares storage area, and resident coffee area.
  • Stock Management: Stock and maintain par levels of food and non-food items, ensuring that all foods are properly stored according to department expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
  • Experience: 1 year of caregiver or aide experience in a ALF, LTC, SNF, or hospital setting (Preferred)
  • Certifications: American Heart Association BLS, American Heart Association Heart Saver First Aid, and ServSafe (Required within 2 months of hire)
