We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Computer Technology courses at Lone Star College. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lessons, evaluating student progress, and maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
This is a part-time, semester-by-semester position, contingent upon student demand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field, and 3 years of non-teaching work experience in the field or industry certification(s).
The successful candidate will be expected to teach at a variety of times and locations, create course syllabi, and utilize a range of instructional approaches, including service learning, learning communities, and the effective use of technology.

Key Responsibilities- Teach Computer Technology courses at a variety of times and locations
- Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
- Evaluate student progress and inform students in a timely manner
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
- Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field
- 3 years of non-teaching work experience in the field or industry certification(s)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to diversity and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people
