Job Summary

Silver Cross Hospital is a leading healthcare provider seeking a skilled Patient Services Representative II to join our team. As a key member of our patient services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate after-visit activities, including collection and review of practice-specific forms, printing of the After Visit Summary (AVS), and communication of payment policies.
  • Collect payments, assist with scheduling follow-up appointments and procedures, and ensure pre-visit clearing for patients on the date of service.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, management, staff, and other customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, using independent thinking, sound judgment, and creativity to resolve customer issues.
  • Balance multiple priorities and effectively handle challenging situations.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma required.
  • Prior experience and in-depth knowledge of insurance preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use personal computers and select software applications.
