Bilingual Content Strategist

We are hiring a bilingual content strategist to lead our coverage of Central Valley's Latino communities. This role requires a strong understanding of the region's diverse culture and economy, as well as excellent writing and reporting skills.

You will be responsible for directing coverage, editing stories, reporting and writing articles, and developing relationships with residents in Fresno's urban core and rural areas. You will also manage La Abeja, a weekly newsletter focusing on Latino communities in the Central Valley.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of journalism experience, including editing. They should also have fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken, and demonstrated ability to use social media platforms to reach and engage with audiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead coverage of Central Valley's Latino communities
  • Edit stories and report/write articles
  • Develop relationships with residents in Fresno's urban core and rural areas
  • Manage La Abeja, a weekly newsletter

We offer a competitive salary of $75,000-$85,000 annually based on a 40-hour workweek, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
