Job Overview

St. Joseph's Healthcare System is seeking a skilled and compassionate pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team. As a key member of our team, you will work in coordination with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our pharmacy and model SJH's purpose in all activities and communication.

Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescriptions and specialty medications
  • Administer appropriate immunizations
  • Ensure compliance with 340b program
  • Create a great customer experience
  • Continuing professional relations with medical providers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and SJH policies
  • Maintain a positive, attentive, and knowledgeable professional image of the pharmacy department
Qualifications
  • 1-2 year experience in retail pharmacy preferred
  • Previous 340B and/or specialty pharmacy experience preferred
  • Hold and maintain a current, valid in-date license/registration to practice Pharmacy in the state of practice
  • Immunization privilege and required CPR certification preferred
  • Must not currently be on any federal government exclusion lists (i.e. OIG, GSA), have any active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a private, federal, or state health insurance program upon hire and thereafter
