Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Concrete Plant Operations Supervisor to enhance our dynamic team in the Lincolnshire region. This position is perfect for individuals with a solid background in plant operations who excel in a fast-paced setting and are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily safety inspections of all essential equipment, in line with company protocols.
- Utilize loading shovels to replenish storage bins and manage aggregate inventory.
- Communicate effectively regarding potential safety risks to the Health & Safety Department and Line Management.
- Ensure production aligns with customer requirements and complies with technical specifications.
- Oversee material inventory levels and coordinate reordering processes with suppliers.
- Manage and supervise on-site truck mixer, tipper, and cement tanker operations.
- Maintain high standards of site cleanliness and execute preventative maintenance tasks.
- Guide and mentor operational staff to promote skill enhancement and operational efficiencies.
- Assist the Production Manager and District Manager with administrative and operational tasks.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical plant machinery, with a strong ability to identify and report faults.
- A flexible, energetic, and hands-on work ethic.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in supervising teams and managing contractors while adhering to strict compliance standards.
