We are seeking a highly skilled Micro Lab Technician to join our team at Michael Foods Inc. in the Village of West Jefferson, OH. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our products.
Key Responsibilities- Perform microbiological sampling, analysis, and reporting to ensure end-to-end quality.
- Assume personal responsibility for a safe and healthy workplace, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure regulatory compliance at all times, performing periodic in-process quality checks and inspecting incoming ingredients.
- Assist in drafting, revision, and maintenance of plant standard operating procedures.
- Act as a liaison between Production, Distribution, Sanitation, Maintenance, and the Quality Department.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively.
