The Inventory Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and traceability of all materials within the warehouse. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
Key Responsibilities- Generate production schedules to determine necessary work orders.
- Ensure that all production lines are equipped with the required work orders.
- Produce specifications for finished products and create pallet documentation.
- Document pallet inspections and carry out production quality checks.
- Monitor product quantities and manage partial pallets before they are returned to the production process.
- Conduct cycle counts to uphold inventory precision.
- Assist with the processes of shipping, receiving, and transferring materials.
- Complete work orders, resolve inventory discrepancies, and propose enhancements to existing processes.
- Operate forklifts as necessary and perform physical inventory counts.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Record weights of storage containers and ensure data accuracy.
- Verify the accuracy of products upon arrival.
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Preferred experience of 1-2 years in a warehouse setting.
- Experience with computerized inventory management systems is advantageous.
- Strong skills in communication, organization, and mathematics.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work.
- Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Willingness to learn and contribute positively to team dynamics.
- Basic computer skills and flexibility in work hours are required.
- Regularly engage in various physical tasks while maintaining concentration.
- Handle weights of up to 50 pounds safely.
- Potential exposure to allergens in the work environment.
- Successful completion of background checks.
- Compliance with industry regulations and possession of a valid driver's license.
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
