Job Title: Pipefitting Assistant

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Pipefitting Assistant to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize basic tools and equipment with care.
• Assist in the replacement of gaskets.
• Prepare workspaces and gather necessary tools for tasks.
• Under the guidance of a Pipefitter, select and prepare pipes for cutting, measuring, threading, and installation.
• Install brackets and supports for piping systems.
• Help with the installation of pipes, valves, instruments, and fittings.
• Use pneumatic drills or hole saws to create openings for pipe installation.
• Assist in the demolition and re-routing of existing piping systems.
• Support the loading, unloading, and transportation of materials.
• Lift and carry various objects as required.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Be prepared for potential travel as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Complete all required safety and job training.
• Adhere to safety and quality protocols established by the company.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to use personal protective equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
• Work in various environments including offices, warehouses, and outdoor sites, with exposure to different weather conditions.
• Safely access all areas of work sites, including elevated positions and confined spaces.
• Meet the physical demands necessary to perform essential job functions.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Capable of standing for extended periods, bending, and working in confined spaces.
