Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients with substance use disorders. As a Registered Nurse Addiction Medicine, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that address the complex needs of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals with substance use disorders, including assessment, treatment planning, and coordination of care.
- Collaborate with the Substance Use Disorder Medical Director and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols.
- Participate in hospital-wide, community-based, and Mass General Brigham SUD task forces to advance our mission and improve patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs and materials to promote awareness and understanding of substance use disorders.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
- Knowledge of substance use issues and significant mental health concerns with adolescents and adults.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and families.
- Masters Degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field.
- Any licensed discipline (PhD/PsyD, LICSW or LMHC).
