An Electronics Production Specialist is responsible for a diverse range of electronic and electromechanical assembly tasks of a semi-skilled nature, contributing to the construction and assembly of intricate units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, PC boards, and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Determine assembly methods and sequences when complete information is not readily available, following production operation sheets, wire lists, samples, blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions to perform various assembly tasks including wiring, component installation, and hand soldering.
• Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for resistance factors and operational integrity; document results.

• Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures; install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, and casings using rivets, bolts, soldering, and micro-welding tools.

• Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic components to rectify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.

• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to ascertain material requirements and assembly instructions.

• Mark and tag components for effective stock inventory tracking and identification.
• Position, align, and adjust workpieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.


• Utilize measuring devices such as tape measures, rulers, and combination squares to accurately lay out hole patterns for mounting electrical components.

• Collaborate with supervisors or engineers to plan and review work activities, addressing production challenges.
• Provide explanations of assembly procedures or techniques to fellow workers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Employ personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, arc flash face shields, dielectric gloves, 1000VAC insulated hand tools, and hearing protection devices as necessary.

Qualifications:
• Proficient in using electrical measuring equipment, including volt/ohm meters and clamp-on ammeters.
• Experience with overhead cranes, jib cranes, hand tools, and power tools is required. Familiarity with 480 volt AC systems is preferred.
• Arc flash safety training is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is essential.

• Capable of working independently to complete tasks efficiently.
