About the Role

The AR Accountant position is a critical component of our sales and cost recognition cycles for transformer and turn-key projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and track inventory purchases accurately and efficiently.
  • Oversee purchasing and sales of gear product lines, ensuring timely and proper revenue recognition.
  • Create invoices according to company practices and submit them to customers.
  • Collect payments from customers and accurately record them in the system.
  • Assist with meeting revenue projections and provide support for monthly cash projections.
  • Collaborate with non-finance inter-departmental managers to ensure timely and proper revenue recognition.
  • Prepare special project analyses for Project Managers and Senior Management as needed.
  • Provide year-end support for auditor requirements, including research and reconciliation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, especially ASC 606 and IFRS 15 is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and accounting software.

Salary: $50,000-$65,000 based on experience.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA.
