Job Summary

Foundations Educational Services, A member of the Point Quest Group, is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in assessing students' speech and language development skills, interpreting results, and developing individualized plans to support their growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students' speech and language development skills, including receptive and expressive language skills, speech production skills, and social language skills development.
  • Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy programs, providing direct therapy to students in accordance with their plans.
  • Provide consultation to classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to support students' speech and language development.
  • Review and maintain speech-language files and related paperwork to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay current on best practices and convey information to colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid SLP/SLT license in the state of Arizona.
  • Valid Department of Education SLP/SLT license in the state of Arizona.
  • AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • CPR certification.
  • Continuing Education requirements, as per AzDHS (speech-hearing-continuing-education).
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes. The position involves frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more pounds. The noise intensity level is moderate to high.
