Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Actalent. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient intake, including vital sign measurements and medical history recording
  • Perform routine screenings and examinations, ensuring patients are informed and comfortable throughout the process
  • Critically listen to patients and engage with them to address their needs and concerns
  • Process patient phone messages, return calls, and route calls to other team members as needed
  • Perform first aid procedures, including changing dressings and applying bandages, under physician supervision

Requirements:

  • Phlebotomy certification
  • ECW-EMR experience
  • Medical Assistant certification

Work Environment:

This is a permanent, on-site position in Kansas City, Missouri, with a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm.
