Job Summary

This is a classified position that involves routine custodial and janitorial work. The employee in this class participates in the work of custodial workers or laborers engaged in maintaining the cleanliness of an assigned work area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas
  • Perform routine custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery
  • Participate in special cleaning projects and events
Working Conditions

Work is performed under the supervision of a Custodian, Property Management, Custodial, Equipment. The employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.

This is a routine custodial and janitorial work position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently. The employee must be able to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
