Position OverviewJoin our fast-paced team supporting the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We're seeking a Security Specialist to support SDA's mission. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities- Support personnel working with SDA
- Process incoming and outgoing Visit Access Requests
- Conduct security indoctrinations
- Process foreign travel notifications and debriefs
- Verify clearance for account requests
- Prepare documents and packages for mailing
- Maintain/update personnel records in multiple systems
- Support internal Security functions, including PHYSEC, OPSEC, and Industrial Security
- Conduct preliminary inquiries for security infractions/violations
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required
- 5 years related experience required
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to actively communicate with co-workers, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations
