Job Summary:

To be an ambassador of Ilitch Sports + Entertainment, providing exceptional customer service to every guest. This role requires a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and a passion for delivering a world-class experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet guests, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Maintain the integrity and exclusivity of private clubs and premium areas at multiple venues.
  • Own guest concerns from initial discovery through resolution, ensuring a positive outcome.
  • Engage guests at every opportunity, building rapport with season ticket holders and repeat guests.
  • Be knowledgeable in and consistently uphold venue/company policies.
  • Proactively be aware of situations that could be detrimental to guest and colleague safety.
  • Problem solve and think critically to resolve complex issues.
  • Be available to work 80% of all ticketed events at Little Caesars Arena, DTE Energy Music Theatre, and Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High school diploma and one to two years of customer service-related experience is required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other colleagues.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Working Conditions:

  • Irregular and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to climb stairs and stand for long periods of time.
  • Exposure to outside weather conditions.
  • Extremely loud noise level.
  • Frequent visual and auditory attention.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, including pushing a guest in a wheelchair.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
  • May be asked to assist with venue clean-up, including bending and lifting.
