Position Overview

As a Clinical Informatics Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in the Project UniPHI initiative, aimed at enhancing clinical processes across outpatient clinics. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver comprehensive educational sessions and facilitate knowledge transfer regarding the Oracle system to clinical staff and physicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop training materials focused on the Oracle system.
  • Conduct training sessions to ensure effective use of the Oracle system among clinical staff.
  • Assess and evaluate the computer competency of participants attending training sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance and participant progress.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance during the implementation of Oracle applications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Bilingualism in French/English is preferred.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a clinical discipline, health science, or Information Management.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in adult education.
  • Proficiency in Cerner PowerChart Clinical Documentation and related systems.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Strong understanding of Cerner PowerChart functionalities.
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
