Your Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests by providing warm greetings and outstanding service.
  • Deliver prompt and courteous service to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction as directed by management.
  • Communicate daily specials, clarify menu items, offer suggestions, take orders, and ensure timely fulfillment of those orders.
  • Verify appropriate drinking age and monitor guest alcohol consumption in accordance with company and state regulations.
  • Handle cash register transactions for both cash and credit card payments.
  • Ensure that all food and beverages served meet the quality standards established by management.
  • Prepare and clear tables in designated areas efficiently.
  • Perform side work, including various cleaning tasks and restocking supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas and stations.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Comfortable working with all types of food, including allergens.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a full-service dining environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with guests, team members, and management.
  • Exceptional guest service skills.
  • Proficient cash handling abilities.
  • Able to learn and utilize computerized order systems effectively.
  • Must complete required SafeStaff training successfully.
  • Must complete Responsible Vendor Training for alcohol service.
  • Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations, multitask, make quick decisions, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 55 pounds.
  • Able to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
  • Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable performing cleaning duties, including the use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Availability to work various shifts based on operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Additional Considerations:
  • Previous experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
