Job Overview

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Soliant Education, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioral challenges in a supportive school near Niwot, CO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and provide direct support to students in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Accurately track and record student progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions, contributing to ongoing assessments and adjustments of BIPs.
  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's behavioral and educational goals.
  • Assist in teaching students essential life and social skills, fostering their independence and confidence.
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies to encourage positive behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification: Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children, especially in an educational or therapeutic setting, is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and collaborate effectively with a team.
