Job Summary

We are seeking a Full Time Unit Secretary to join our team on Day Shift. As a Unit Secretary, you will be responsible for performing the duties of a receptionist and assisting with all clerical duties on the patient unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, word processing, and record management.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare staff and patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• One year of clerical or administrative assistant experience preferred.
• Two (2) years' experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• EKG certification preferred for positions including telemetry functions.
