About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse to work in a dynamic and fast-paced medical/surgical hospitalist unit. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures and special tests
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
  • Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
