Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated CNC Lathe Operator for our 3rd shift team within the Steam and Condensate Group. New employees will initially train on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 3rd shift upon demonstrating independent capability. A sign-on bonus of $1000 is available for candidates with relevant CNC experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings accurately.
- Adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
- Utilize measuring tools effectively for metalworking tasks.
- Execute tool offsets and minor programming adjustments.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and modify programs as necessary.
- Work with indexable, carbide, and high-speed tooling.
- Inspect workpieces for defects and measure components to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
- Handle materials with weights typically up to 50 pounds, utilizing material handling equipment for heavier loads.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure product standards.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software for data management.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role
