Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of the Respiratory Therapy team, your daily responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Providing comprehensive education to patients and caregivers to facilitate timely discharges.
- Engaging in professional communication with healthcare providers and discharge coordinators regarding patient education and the delivery of necessary equipment.
- Performing thorough checks on home equipment for current patients.
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and offering re-education to patients and their caregivers.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure effective communication with patients and their families.
Qualifications and Benefits
A Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is mandatory.
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with an on-call rotation.
- A company vehicle will be provided for use during work hours.
- We offer a competitive benefits package that includes health insurance and paid time off.
- A current RT license in good standing with the state licensing authority is required.
- A valid driver's license is also necessary.
Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available.
