About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled Relationship Banker to join our National Branch Network team in the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. As a Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs, and providing personalized solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing personalized solutions to meet those needs.
  • Financial Needs Assessment: Assess customers' financial needs and provide recommendations for financial products and services that meet those needs.
  • Product and Service Offerings: Identify opportunities to offer a full range of Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products and services to customers.
  • Account Management: Open and service accounts within authorized limits, create plans for follow-up and scheduled contacts with customers.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Financial Knowledge: Knowledge of financial services consumer lending products and ability to educate customers on financial services.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with internal partners and external sources to enhance the customer experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FINRA Registration: Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration.
  • State Insurance License: State Insurance license(s) required for this role.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing proficiency in Spanish/English a plus.
