About the JobThis 13-week travel nursing assignment requires a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with at least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting. As an ICU/Critical Care Nurse, you'll possess the skills needed to manage the care of adult patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high-intensity therapies, and interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care, education, and support to patients and their families.
- Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment, such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
- Monitor patients' heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
- Administer medication, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
- Meticulously document medication administration and patient progress.
- Assist in emergency nursing procedures to promptly address changes in patients' physical condition.
- Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
