Este puesto apoya el programa de Capacitación de Técnicos en Procesamiento Estéril dentro del Departamento de Educación Continua y Desarrollo de Fuerza Laboral en Carreras de Salud. El instructor adjunto prepara a los estudiantes para el examen de Técnico de Servicio Central Certificado (CRCST) de la Asociación Internacional de Gestión de Materiales de Servicio de Salud (IAHCSMM) y la experiencia de externado clínico que conduce a la certificación completa mediante el desarrollo de conferencias atractivas y laboratorios interactivos en el aula.
Funciones y Responsabilidades Esenciales:
Las siguientes son las funciones esenciales para desempeñar este trabajo:

  • Desarrollar conferencias atractivas utilizando el libro de texto CRCST de IAHCSMM
  • Preparar laboratorios interactivos para que los estudiantes practiquen conceptos
  • Crear evaluaciones escritas y de habilidades para medir la competencia
  • Preparar a los estudiantes para su externado clínico
  • Participar en actividades de desarrollo profesional para asegurar la actualización en disciplina, conocimiento y métodos de instrucción
Calificaciones Mínimas Requeridas:
  • Debe tener certificación CRCST (o superior) de IAHCSMM vigente
  • Mínimo de 3 años de experiencia como técnico en procesamiento estéril o gestionando un departamento de procesamiento estéril
  • Conocimiento en el desarrollo de planes de estudio, incluyendo presentaciones en PowerPoint
  • Excelentes habilidades de oratoria y comunicación interpersonal
Calificaciones Deseadas:
  • Experiencia previa en enseñanza o capacitación corporativa
  • Experiencia utilizando un sistema de gestión de aprendizaje como Blackboard
  • Título de asociado o superior
