About the Role:

This Speech-Language Pathologist - Per Diem Opportunity is an exciting chance to join Tucson Medical Center's team of experienced healthcare professionals. As a key member of our multidisciplinary therapy team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral motor disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Examine and test patients to determine the extent of their impairment and prognosis for improvement.">
  • Create individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and testing results.">
  • Provide instruction in therapeutic procedures to patients and their families/caregivers.">
  • Maintain active communication with patients, families, and colleagues regarding progress.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.">
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.">
  • State Speech Pathologist Licensure issued by the Arizona Department of Health Services.">
  • National Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).">
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric acute care, NICU, and/or outpatient feeding.">
  • Pediatric modified barium swallow study competency a plus.">

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
