Bakery Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Associate to join our team at Cosentino's Food Stores. As a Bakery Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in their shopping experience by producing, stocking, and packaging high-quality baked items in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering customer questions, resolving issues, and promoting sales.
• Bakery Operations: Assist in the production, stocking, and packaging of baked items, including rotating fresh product, restocking ingredients, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Merchandising: Merchandise cases to ensure fullness, freshness, and attractiveness of displays to promote sales.
• Inventory Management: Assist in the management of bakery inventory, including ordering and receiving ingredients, and maintaining accurate records.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and provide exceptional customer service.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a bakery or customer service role preferred.
• Skills: Basic math and reading skills, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Bakery Associate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to heat, cold, and humidity. The ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service is essential for this role.
