Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Preconstruction Manager to lead our Preconstruction department. The ideal candidate will have a competitive attitude and experience with Hard bids. Our client is a commercial contractor with a strong presence in Middle Georgia, specializing in municipalities, educational, and religious institutions.

The Preconstruction Director will be responsible for project financials, risk management, and client relations. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations and requires experience with Sage Software (Timberline). The ideal candidate will be bidding on municipalities, K-12, and Higher Education projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating business for the company & Preconstruction team through winning bids and increasing profitability
  • Cultivating strong relationships with our staff, clients, subcontractors, and business partners

Requirements:

  • Experience within the Construction Industry
  • A mind for numbers and a strong mathematics skillset
  • Strong Team Player
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft products, Bluebeam, Timberline, and other Preconstruction Software products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
