Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Imaging Department at Starr Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining high-quality imaging results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate and effective imaging procedures.
  • Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications as necessary.
  • Monitor patient condition and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies, and implement safety standards and quality control procedures.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures, analyzing results and identifying issues with image quality.
  • Take action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures.
  • Enter, transmit, and report scan results.

Requirements
  • Current ARRT licensure in Radiologic Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Environment

This is a PRN position in our Imaging Department at Starr Regional Medical Center in Tennessee-Athens.
