We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Star City Nursing and Rehabilitation. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing assistants to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and preferences.
- Document resident information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Current state license as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
- Active CPR certification.
- Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, with physical work being a primary part of the job.
- Able to stand and/or walk for more than four hours per day, with ability to bend and/or stoop for extended periods.
- $2.00/hour shift differential for 3p-11p shift or $1.50/hour for 11p-7a shift.
- 1.5X Holiday Pay.
- 1.5X Overtime Pay for every hour worked over 40 hours per week.
- Benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
- 401(k) retirement plan.
- Daily Pay.
- Tuition reimbursement through ECPI.
