Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our warehouse team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean, repair, and maintain equipment for buildings and grounds at the plant
  • Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors on building or maintenance projects and repairs
  • Perform safety and maintenance checks
  • Replace cords and parts on broken or worn-out equipment
  • Repair hand and/or power tools
  • Repair plumbing
  • Paint non-production items
  • Troubleshoot and adjust equipment and machines
  • Clean and repair lighting
  • Service motor homes when needed
  • Fabricate parts and shop equipment
  • Document repairs and data entry
  • Follow all safety lockout/tag out procedures
  • Snow removal and lawn care
  • Assist in other areas of production as needed and qualified
Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or GED with 1 year of work experience
  • Driver's License required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Forklift experience
  • Basic mechanical abilities to include electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing
  • Forklift driving skills along with ability to operate maintenance equipment
  • Physical strength sufficient to perform job duties
  • Understand and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Electrical, HVAC, and mechanical troubleshooting necessary
  • Blueprint, assembly, and technical schematic reading, and documents required
  • Safety-oriented and follow all safety standards and regulations
  • Ability to communicate, in English, effectively and clearly by both written and verbal means
  • Work effectively and productively in the resolution of difficult and/or stressful issues
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment written math test, physical, drug, and background test
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing
  • Class B Driver's License and DOT
