Benedictine is looking for a dedicated full-time Healthcare Business Operations Supervisor to oversee the financial and administrative functions across our communities. This role will involve collaboration between various facilities.

Overview:


The Healthcare Business Operations Supervisor is tasked with managing the revenue cycle processes and acts as a key liaison between the community and the corporate Support Center.


Responsibilities:


Ensures adherence to State, Federal, and County regulations, as well as Benedictine policies regarding all financial processes.


Develops expertise in the billing systems, accounting software, online payer platforms, and other necessary applications.


Ensures all financial documentation is accurately completed for each resident and secures prior authorizations when necessary.

Oversees resident setup, applicable charges, payers, and private pay arrangements within the billing system.

Conducts eligibility assessments, verifies insurance benefits, and communicates coverage details to residents.

Facilitates the Medicaid application process for eligible residents.

Responsible for managing community census data.

Processes payments and performs bank deposits regularly, utilizing desktop scanners or conducting physical deposits as required.

Enters ancillary charges and submits vendor invoices to Accounts Payable in line with corporate guidelines.


Manages the daily operations of the Resident Trust Account (RTA) and petty cash, assisting with monthly reconciliations.

Handles month-end closing activities and reconciles expenses against revenue on a monthly basis.

Completes annual Medicaid and Medicare Cost Reporting along with other year-end responsibilities.


Participates in monthly reviews of accounts receivable aging and supports the centralized billing office as needed for collection efforts or follow-ups.

Oversees the recruitment, training, development, and performance management of assigned staff to foster a professional and motivated team.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Associate's Degree in a business-related field or a combination of High School Diploma and relevant experience.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Business Office Manager.

At least one (1) year of experience in healthcare accounts receivable and/or accounts payable.

Proficiency in accounting and general office software, along with familiarity with standard office equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
One (1) year of prior management experience.
